API’s FAA-PMA King Air polarized aircraft windows operate by simply rotating one of the polarizing shades (inner/rotator) against the other (outer/fixed). The window will then become progressively more opaque until it is virtually black, giving complete control to the passenger.
Using the scientific principles of light polarization, our polarized windows are unlike ordinary blinds and shades. Our Eclipse® polarizer aircraft window shades provide full cabin control of sunlight from bright to near opaque and everything in-between.

The Eclipse polarized windows are also extremely affordable. In fact, they cost about 50 percent less than shades and are much more cost-effective then electrochromic windows. Installation and maintainability are also considerably less than shades.
